Hyron Edwards Enjoyed Second Visit To Michigan

Sep 13, 2012 12:20 AM

Hyron Edwards took an official recruiting visit to Michigan last weekend.

Edwards attended Michigan’s home-opening football game against Air Force.

“The visit was great. I loved it all, actually,” said Edwards, who is considered a top-15 prospect in the 2015 class. “Just the football game, how hype it was, how crazy the student section was. That’s what stood out to me.”

Edwards has not yet received an offer from Wolverines coach John Beilen.

“[Michigan] told me when I first went down there on my first visit that they were going to offer me in June of my junior year,” Edwards said. “That’s what they told me and I think that’s pretty good.”

Karl Towns Jr. Interested In Visit To Michigan

Karl Towns Jr. is interested in visiting Michigan at some point in the near future, his father, Karl Sr., confirmed.

"When I was younger my dad always told me about the Fab Five and would watch movies about all of them: Chris Webber, Jalen Rose and all the freshmen," Towns told UMHoops.com in May. "It was just a dream of mine to show my dad that I could be a part of that kind of team of freshmen and the tradition there at Michigan.”

Town, a 6-foot-11 center, is the consensus No. 1 overall player in the 2015 class.
